SMS Meer chooses BLT to develop sales force

As experts in developing the sales skills of sales people who sell complex products and services, we’ve been working with SMS Meer (specialists in mechanical engineering for the processing of steel and nonferrous metals) to deliver a highly practical sales skills development programme for their UK sales force.

The first programme has been built around developing the communication skills of their sales people, with a particular focus on communicating value to the customer in a highly technical environment.  It has received outstanding feedback from participants and a real commitment from them to implement their learning back at work.

In the autumn, delegates will be participating in the second phase of the programme, this time focused on negotiation skills in a technical sales environment and they’ll be tracking the impact of the training on their sales results and personal development into 2016.
